4. Cookies and Online Tracking
The Site and its providers use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar technologies.
These technologies may be used for:
- Essential functions: Site operation, security, spam prevention, and form functionality;
- Analytics: Understanding traffic, visitor behavior, and Site performance;
- Advertising and attribution: Measuring advertisements, identifying referral sources, and evaluating whether an advertisement resulted in an inquiry; and
- Preferences: Remembering certain settings or choices.
Third-party advertising and analytics providers may collect information about your activity over time and across different websites or services.
You can restrict cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect the availability or performance of some Site features. You may also use the following tools:
- Google Ads Settings;
- Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on;
- Meta Ad Preferences; and
- Digital Advertising Alliance Opt-Out.
Do Not Track and Privacy Preference Signals
Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no universally accepted standard for interpreting traditional Do Not Track signals, the Site may not respond to them.
Where required by applicable law, we will treat a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of qualifying sales, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal.
5. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information to third parties for money.
However, our use of advertising, analytics, and lead-attribution technologies may involve disclosing identifiers, device information, approximate location, and internet or website activity to providers such as Google, Meta, and WhatConverts. Depending on the applicable law, some of these disclosures may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising, even though we do not receive money in exchange.
Where applicable, you may opt out of these activities through the Site’s Your Privacy Choices or Cookie Preferences link, by using a legally recognized browser preference signal, or by contacting us using the details below.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
6. Communications and Marketing Choices
We may use your contact information to respond to your inquiry and communicate about a requested or ongoing project.
If we send promotional emails, you may opt out by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or contacting us. Even after opting out of promotional messages, you may continue to receive non-promotional communications concerning an inquiry, appointment, contract, project, payment, warranty matter, or legal notice.
You may ask us to stop marketing telephone calls or text messages by telling us during the call, replying “STOP” to an automated text when that option is available, or contacting us.
We do not disclose text-message opt-in information or consent to unaffiliated third parties for their independent marketing.
7. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing services, maintaining business and project records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal, tax, accounting, licensing, and insurance obligations.
As a general guideline:
- Inquiries that do not result in a project may be retained for up to three years after the last interaction;
- Customer, contract, accounting, warranty, and project records may be retained for up to seven years after project completion or the end of the customer relationship; and
- Analytics, advertising, security, and cookie data may be retained according to our provider settings and applicable legal requirements.
We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary for litigation, a regulatory inquiry, fraud prevention, a legal hold, or another lawful purpose. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that no longer reasonably identifies an individual.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Nevertheless, no website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You should use care when sending information electronically and avoid submitting information that is not needed for your inquiry.

- Request information about how we collect, use, and disclose personal information;
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Request deletion of personal information;

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will use verification information only for that purpose. If we cannot verify a request, or if an exception applies, we may deny or limit the request and explain our decision when required.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request where permitted by law. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and may contact you directly to verify the request.
10. California Privacy Disclosures
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, if Opulands is subject to that law. These may include rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal treatment.
